Supprting an Enable programme has a domino effect and creates additional impact that goes much further than the initial support.
Because Enable services are connected and our teams work collaboratively to support communities, initial engagement often turns into users accessing other much needed services. This could be coming in for a community event and lead to a holistic pathway of support, whether that's improving wellbeing, developing skills, building a relationship or volunteering in their community.
For example, Big Play Out is Enable’s week-long summer festival, designed to give children, young people and their families access to new experiences and opportunities during the school holidays. With 100 different activities to discover – spanning sport, creativity, play, learning and wellbeing – it creates an accessible way for young people to try something new, find what excites them and share those experiences with their families.
The below pathways shows how a young person's visit to Big Play Out could become the starting point for a much longer journey with Enable, connecting them to new experiences, opportunities and support as their interests, needs and ambitions develop.
